Business Process Automation enforces consistency by replacing many of the manual human driven processes organizations depend upon each day with schedule driven tasks. These repeatable tasks are comprised of tools designed to complete each step of a defined business process. Whether a data driven event, submitted web form, inbound email, or scheduled deliverable, these tasks complete as scheduled without interruption. Employee efficiency and performance levels improve as they are now able to complete the job for which they were hired on time and still have time to watch their children grow!Whether your company is international or down the street Workflow Automation is a necessity for maintaining a competitive edge. Think smart, work smarter, and automate the rest!
Implementation costs vary depending upon the complexity of the business process. Does the process cross organizational units? Are there integration points with third party software? Is reporting involved and are those reports already designed? This list of discussion points may be lengthy however, implementation may not. A simple project involving receipt and assignment of web leads to sales may only take a couple of days. The investment return (ROI) on such a project may be recognized within a few short months.

Implementations project timelines will vary depending upon project requirements. Unlike CRM and/or ERP projects that take months to implement and rollout, most automation projects can be implemented and in production within weeks. A primary reason for this is that most of the componants required for a successful BPA implementation are already in place in the form of exisitng data sources, infrastructure, and hardware. Additionally, the boost to employee morale when they learn of time saving processes being implemented.
Absolutely Not! The automation of business processes is designed to improve employee efficiency and morale by allowing them to focus on the job they were hired to complete. As turnover and job advancement take place, many department managers are faced with placing greater workloads on remaining staff. Budget restrictions often inhibit the hiring of new employees to fill the void. As a result, the timely dissemination of data throughout the company is often delayed. Overtime and weekend work is required to fulfill increased demand and employee work/life balance suffers.
